Honestly... both. Like monotheistic religions, we have the same Gods with different names. We have our individual paths (sects, if you will). We have some groups believing they're more correct than other groups, and that causes a rift. But there's also a lot more open-mindedness in paganism. A lot more acceptance of the different and unknown.

That's a difficult question to answer, because paganism does have its pros and cons.

What do you consider a monotheistic religion? Christianity? They have the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (that's 3). Catholics have all that plus all those 'patron saints' everyone prays to (that constitutes deity). Hmmmm, is anyone really monotheistic???

I feel the answer to the question is both as with any religion there will be things that will both unite and divide.
